Resources: Media Lists

Media exposure is a great way to get the word out about your Walk to School Day event, and can be an effective way to increase participation, increase volunteer numbers and get kids excited about walking or bicycling safely to school.

Promoting your program to the proper news media can be challenging. The National Center for Safe Routes to School provides state media lists and instructions for registered Walk to School event coordinators. Register or log in using your existing account to access the State media lists.
